Bounding box shading optional

Hi,

first of all, labelbox is a nice and very useful tool.

But for medical datasets where object intensity is an important feature, the background shading of the rectangles disguise important cell features. Just the rectangle border would be sufficient to mark cells.

Is it possible to deactivate the shading without creating a custom interface?

With kind regards,
Christian

Hi @christian.marzahl, thanks! It’s not possible currently but we are going to consider adding transparency option or make the overlay bit more lighter.

Hi,

thank you for the fast replay.

I am sorry to hear that, even with a custom interface, it is currently not possible to reach the goal.

With kind regards,
Christian

Is there any update regarding this matter?
We just finished the first stage of our current research using Labelbox and are delighted with it, but we can not use it any further until it is not possible to set the opacity of the annotations. It is simply not possible to grade the cells correctly if there is an overlay and too time-consuming to activate and deactivate the overlay.

With kind regards,
Christian

It’s available in “image segmentation” editor. You can also use bounding boxes in this editor. Points and lines coming in a few days.
